created to be his helpmeet

This month, I bought the book created to be his help meet, by Debi Pearl.  This book is sooooo good!  I haven't had any real troubles with my marriage like I know alot of marriages have had, but I have came to the conclusion that every marriage needs work.  No marriage is perfect, and there is always something we can do to make it stronger and better.  Talking with my hubby about this book, I realized that I do lack in the help meet area of my marriage.  When I get busy with the homeschooling, and housework, and all of the little activities and work that goes along with having a big family, I forget to acknowledge my husband.  I am learning that I need to never forget my first love.  Remember what it was like when we first fell in love.  It is so hard to keep a joyful heart, and a smile on my face, when I am just burnt out at the end of the day.  I need to take those small moments when adam is home, and give him a smile that says I love you, and I appreciate you.  

 For all of you who may stop by my blog, I really encourage you to buy this book, and read it.  I have only read the first 3 chapters, and it has already changed the way I look at my marriage.
