Tuesday

Today was a good day! My carpet was in desperate need of a shampooing.  In order to let the carpet dry, I had to keep the kids upstairs.  So, we packed up the school work, took it up to the boys room, made a huge tent with some sheets, and had school in the tent.  It was fun!  We have been reading the book of 1 John together, and attempting to memorize it.  The kids are loving the whole memorization stuff.
Tonight,  Ethan and Madeline both have come down with this horrible fever virus that has been slowly going through the family.  It is the worst thing to see your kids with such high fevers.  They have all complained about their eyes burning.  So they are just laying on the couches now with cold wash clothes on their eyes.  I just pray that I don't get it.  We all know what happens when the Mom gets sick.  Total Chaos!  Lord please keep me well for the sake of my family!

Perhaps I can use these next couple of days when the older 2 kids are sick, to work with the younger 2, learning more letters and numbers.
