New Dutch Bros.

So far, today has been a good day.  A brand new Dutch Bros. coffee house opened up today, and is giving away free drinks.  So the kids and I got up early with dh, and got ourselves some free coffees before dropping dh off at work.  It was early, but you can't beat free!  When we got home, I made the kids breakfast, and tried to teach them a hymn. That was fun!  We did some math, and I cut out a bunch of scraps of paper with words on them and had Ethan and Madie try to make sentences out of them.  Gable and I sat and practiced his reading.  Now they are watching a spanish language video while I take a break and write on my blog.  Yesterday was my mom's birthday, and her and my Dad came to visit us before they went out to dinner.  It is always nice to see them, and the kids go crazy with excitement when they get to play with grandma and grandpa.  Next month, my Dad offered to take dh and the boys to a monster truck rally up in Portland. My boys are gonna have soo much fun!  They LOVE monster trucks.  Most boys do I suppose.   They have never actually seen any of them person, so this is bound to be an exciting memory making trip.
