Homeschool Journal (what did we do today?)

We started the morning reading the next chapter of Luke, which was Luke chapter 8.

I read the story 'Oscar cat about town' by James Herriot to the kids.

-Read Chapter 10 from 'An Island Story'

-Wrote on his blog, and in his journal

- Did lesson from Teaching Textbooks grade 5

- practiced some piano songs

-Read next chapter in Helen Keller biography

-Page out of Saxon 3rd grade math

-Copied Poem into her journal

~Gable 7~

-Page out of Saxon 1st grade math

- copied more of a story out of Primary English Lessons ( Emma Serl)

~Anna 5~

- Did two pages out of Explode the Code book 1

- Did two pages out of Horizons Math K

We read two poems out loud out of the Book of Virtues, and discussed the lesson being taught by the poems.  We also did the next lesson in Song School Latin (which has been a blast!)
