It has been fun being able to talk to people from our community about adoption. We had a few people actually come by and just leave a couple of dollars in our donation jar without even buying anything. There are no words to describe the amount of thankfulness that I have in my heart when people do that.
The big sellers at our garage sales so far, are DVD's, clothing, and baked goods. A dear friend of mine made us a batch of jumbo cookies to sell, and I couldn't believe how fast they went! We had one lady buy 10 of them! Tonight I am giving Adam the task of making a couple batches of his famous caramel corn to sell. It would be a pleasant surprise if the bags of caramel corn go as fast as the jumbo cookies did.

It has been a huge blessing as well, to have the wonderful neighbors that I do. Our next door neighbor (who I couldn't do this without!) has helped me with pricing things out, and is one heck of saleswoman! When she isn't selling something, she is playing with the kids. My neighbor across the street, has been taking pictures of us, so we can put a scrapbook together for the baby. The thought hasn't even crossed my mind! She is SO on top of it.
In other fund raiser news....I have more puzzle piece sponsors! My mother bought 5 puzzle pieces today. It was so much fun to write Grandma on the back. Our baby will know Grandma loves them! All of us already love our baby, and it may not even be conceived yet.
Tomorrow is day 2. Hopefully it won't rain on us again. It's supposed to be in the 80's, but we will see. At least it wasn't cold!
