I am thrilled to get this new fund raiser going! I got this idea from some amazing families who are also going through the adoption process, and struggling to find funds.
This fund raiser, is one that will be fun for everyone who is involved. Here is how it will work.
Everyone has the option to sponsor a puzzle piece (or pieces if you want. There is no limit!) for $5. Every time we get more sponsors, we as a family will build the puzzle. I will take lots of pictures of the puzzle coming together and post them on my blog so everyone can see it being built! After you have your piece(s) sponsored, we will write your name on the back of the piece(s). I will also include your name in my sidebar. In the end, we will have a finished puzzle, with everyone's names on the back that we can hang on the baby's wall. Our baby will always be reminded of all of you who cared and contributed to their being adopted into our family. And of course when we get to that stage there WILL be more pictures!
If you would like to become a puzzle piece sponsor, you can either use the "click here to become a sponsor" button in my sidebar, or you can email me for other arrangements. I will also include your name in my sidebar. For those of you who are sponsoring puzzle pieces online, you are welcome to grab the puzzle pieces for adoption sponsor button and place it on your blog or website. Spread the word! Let everyone know that you are helping a child get into a loving home.

We are ready to get building!

I love this idea!
ReplyDeleteThanks Ali for sharing your idea and your blog with me. Hope you will stop at mine! May God Bless your endeavor! :)
ReplyDelete[...] Sponsoring a 5$ puzzle piece for my new bloggy friend, Ali @ My God-Given Mission Field, will not only contribute towards their adoption process but also help them build, piece by piece, an amazing momento of their adoption journey to enjoy for years to come. (Incidentally, I found Ali through the curriculum swap, she sold me a set of Saxon math books - YAY!!) [...]
ReplyDeleteWow! What a great idea! Lord-willing we hope to be in the very begining stages of an international adoption soon. And, I have been wondering how exactly we are going to come up with the money...I know that it is in the Lord's hands, and if He has opened this door for us, He will provide... Still, I have been praying about ideas on how to raise the money...without coming up with much. This is such a creative idea...and what a blessing it will be to your little one to see how many people cared enough to help bring them to their forever family!! I may have to try it if our application is approved... :)
