Yesterday while on my way to jury duty (my second time! I can't believe it.), I drove past a small sunflower field that was in perfect condition. So later on that evening we attempted to do a quick photo session of our kids in the field. All I had was my phone on me, but I think the pictures turned out pretty good for being taken by a cell phone.
It always amazes me how all of the sunflowers face toward the east where the sun rises. These pictures aren't nearly as nice as last years, or the year before, but they will do.
Today I was so excited to see that 3 more puzzle pieces were sponsored! that puts us up to 25 pieces! If we keep going at this rate, we will be able to pay for most of our adoption up front. It has been a little stressful thinking that we will have to max out our credit cards to pay for it, but we were willing to do what ever it takes to bring our baby home. We may not have to do that if our puzzle pieces continue to get sponsored.Thank you to everyone who has helped us out so far! It touches my heart to see so many people care.
As I was milling around the house this morning, contemplating pulling out our school books, I realized that we could get a phone call at ANY time saying that we have been matched with a baby. It gives me goose bumps! It almost feels like those last few weeks when you are ready to give birth, and your baby could be born at time. It's an exciting nervous anticipation 0f the unknown. It feels like it's taking forever, but it will seem like such a short time once we have our baby.
I am looking forward to the day when I get to share pictures, stories, and tell you ALL about our "gotcha day".
