Oh the wonderful activities we get to do in our homeschool! This poor Box Elder beetle had no hope. He was bound to be food today.
Venus fly traps are native to the Carolinas. Right now you can see that the traps are turning black. That is because it is starting to go into their dormant stage. Many people have thrown away their plants thinking that they are dead, when really they are just dormant. We bought our Venus Fly traps from Lowe's for about 5 dollars. Cheap and fun entertainment!
