Sweet Shot- My Family

My WHOLE family

This is my sweet shot for this week.  It's one of the first pictures I took with my camera when I first got it.  Every year around Christmas,  my mom and dad have us all come up for a "Grandma's Workshop" day.  We sip hot chocolate, make homemade Christmas tree ornaments, and enjoy big bowls of chili. It is one tradition we look forward to every year!

We are hoping...and praying..and hoping...and praying...that next years picture will include our new adopted baby.  We are still anxiously waiting for that magical phone call from our agency, telling us that a birth mother has chosen our family to parent her child.

We are still trying to find ways to fund raise.   I was very happy though, to find out that our church is considered non profit.  If there are people who would like to make a tax deductible donation toward our adoption, they can write a check out to our church and get a tax deduction for it!  Raising funds has been pretty difficult.  We have been able to raise some through our puzzle piece sponsorship, but not as much as I was hoping.  We will see what happens! (if you want more information about sending us a tax deductible donation, please email me at weetelfers at gmail dot com and I can give you details).

If anyone has ideas on fund raisers we could do, I welcome advice and ideas!
