Busy Time of the Year

It's been a long time since I have written anything in my blog, and I apologize to all of you who are regulars! This time of year is always really busy for us.  This is the time of year when we start having back to back birthdays, and then thanksgiving, and then christmas, then our anniversary..whew!!  My oldest son turned 7 October 31st, and we had a superhero birthday party.  I had 16 kids with their parents all packed into my house!  woooo! That was crazy!  We also attempted to do a pinata.  Why do the pinata manufacturers have to make those things soo thick??  The thing was made out of card board!  The kids whacked and whacked, and the thing just wouldn't break. Finally, Daddy had to just rip it open, and dump out the contents.  My daughter is turning 6 in a couple of weeks.  They are growing up too fast!  Well, I am off to town today.  My daughter is about to finish up her horizons math workbook, so I need to go find her something new to do.  I am wanting to check out making math meaningful made by cornerstone curriculum.  Have any of you used it before?  I would love to get some opinions from those who have used it before.  I love looking at curriculum at the book stores!  There is just so many different options out there.God Bless you all!
